Melissa Owen

Certified 200 Hr Yoga Teacher

Melissa found her way to yoga around 2007 as a way to cross train for dance in the off- season. She began teaching Powerflow ( a combination of yoga and Pilates) in 2009 while attending college. She obtained her 200 hour yoga certification,  yoga extension and 50 hr yoga sculpt certification in 2014 from Core Power Yoga. When she returned to the Brainerd Lakes area she taught Vinyasa and Sculpt for Nisswa Yoga for about 6 years. After a two year break to stay home with her littles she is so happy to be back in the studio teaching again.  What began as a journey to maintain strength and flexibility for dance turned into a life-long passion. Melissa strives to create classes that are accessible for all ability levels. She values a practice that is strong and adventurous, yet mindful of what the body needs in that moment. Her goal is for students to feel safe to explore and ask questions and to leave more grounded and peaceful in body and mind.

Helene Danielson

Certified 200 Hr Yoga Teacher

Helene seeks to create balance in her yoga practice. A balance of breath and movement, softness and strength, energy and peace. The mat is a place to turn attention inward for both physical and mental well-being. Helene completed her training through the Yoga Center of Minneapolis (now the Yoga Center Retreat) in 2017 and has since been teaching in various capacities in the BLA. She brings a calming energy to her vinyasa classes and strives to create a practice where each person can find what they need.

Jamie Kloss

Certified Yin Yoga Teacher

Jamie Kloss grew up as a multi-sport athlete throughout school. A true 90's kid, he was also involved in extreme sports, such as skateboarding and freestyle BMX. In his early 20's, a motor vehicle accident led to multiple surgeries and years of physical therapy, derailing his active lifestyle. Jamie came to yoga at the behest of his wife and neurologist, hoping to regain his mobility and active lifestyle. Jamie has specialized in Yin Yoga, finding the emphasis on facial, ligament, and join mobility beneficial in his healing journey. He looks forward to sharing the physical and mental benefits of Yin yoga with the Notice community. "In stillness, reflection happens."

Molly Zins

Molly started practicing yoga in graduate school, and what began as a simple outlet grew into a meaningful, lifelong practice. Through the busy years of raising young children, carving out quiet early mornings on the mat became an anchor, shaping her understanding of yoga as a moving meditation that fosters mind-body connection. She brings this grounded, intuitive perspective to her teaching, guiding others to connect with breath, body, and inner awareness without judgment.

Tanya Thielen

Certified 200 Hr Yoga Teacher

Yoga found Tanya at a meaningful point in her life, through a dual journey of introspection, self-reflection, and a deep interest in brain research. As a lifelong educator, she was initially drawn to the science-backed benefits of yoga philosophy, but quickly became equally captivated by the physical practice. What began as curiosity soon revealed a powerful truth: what’s good for the body is good for the mind. Eager to deepen her understanding, Tanya immersed herself in Yoga Teacher Training at Notice Wellness, where she discovered that yoga was far more than just an exercise routine—it was a pathway to mindfulness, stress relief, and personal transformation. Through her practice and training, Tanya developed a passion for guiding others into a space that feels safe, grounded, and connected. She weaves together meditation, breathwork, and asana to help students access inner wisdom, joy, compassion, healing, and confidence. She believes the individual journey into mindfulness becomes even more profound when shared in community. Grateful to now be part of the Notice Wellness team, Tanya is honored to walk alongside others on a lifelong journey of growth, awareness, and spiritual awakening.

Autumn Thull

What started as a personal practice has blossomed into a guiding force in her life, deepening with each passing year. At the heart of Autumn's teaching is a commitment to compassion and kindness—values that permeate both her yoga classes and her work with young learners. She believes that yoga is not just about the physical practice, but about creating space for growth, healing, and authentic connection. With a deep love for education, Autumn is equally devoted to teaching others and to being a lifelong learner herself. She brings humor, centeredness, and intentional space to everything she does, fostering an environment where all are welcomed and valued. Whether on the mat or in the classroom, Autumn creates opportunities for people to discover their own strength and inner peace.
