In the Yogic tradition, 108 is a sacred number. Practicing 108 Sun Salutations is a meditative practice that connects the body, the mind, and the universe, specifically when nature is undergoing a change.
To celebrate the winter solstice, when the length of day/light matches the length of night/darkness, we'll come together during this beautiful time of balance and renewing. This will be heated and candlelit. Variations for the sun salutations will be provided to meet all abilities.
Bring a mat (rentals are $5), water, and sweat towel.
