About the event
Ever feel lonely, distracted, overwhelmed, or exhausted? Your nervous system may be crying out for some relief. The solution isn't to do more, but rather to do less. Restorative Yoga uses props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease to facilitate relaxation and health. More than just rest, this Restorative Yoga practice promotes physical, emotional, and psychological healing.
Restorative Yoga provides much-needed relief for your overstimulated nervous system by teaching you how to slow down and find your inner silence. By activating your parasympathetic nervous system, Restorative Yoga:
- Decreases stress levels
- Improves concentration and clarity
- Enhances the quality of your sleep
- Increases your resilience and gives your nervous system the break it deserves
The workshop will begin with a short lecture/discussion and the remainder of our time will be spent in practice. A custom made eye pillow for you to take home is included with registration.
Suitable for all levels.
